Fingers and Thumbs Crafts began in the smallest of spaces, my bedroom at my parents’ house while I was still working full time. After 12 years in the energy industry, I took redundancy and made the life changing decision to go self employed.

For the next two years, I balanced building my business with returning to employment, slowly laying the foundations for what would eventually become my full time career. Eighteen months later, I took the leap back into full time self employment and I haven’t looked back.

What started in a spare bedroom grew into two office spaces, and in 2023 I finally moved into my dream studio: a bright, spacious office with huge open windows and room to create freely.

I’ve worked 18 hour days, pushed through countless challenges, and stayed committed to my passion. Fourteen years later, I’m still here having survived a global pandemic that closed the doors on many wedding businesses, a cost of living crisis, and more obstacles than I could have imagined when I first began.

Today, I’m incredibly proud of how far Fingers and Thumbs Crafts has come. Every order, every customer, and every moment of support has helped build the business I love so much.
